A lightweight vacuum weighs less than 5 kilograms. You can easily move it through the house, store it quickly, and lift it up the stairs. We think a stick vacuum is light if it weighs 3 kilos or less. It feels heavier though, because you hold the entire vacuum when cleaning, instead of just the hose.
