How do you build in a microwave or oven?

It's easier to build in an oven or microwave than you think. Even if you don't have any experience, it's an easy job. We'll explain how you can build in a microwave below step by step.

You bought a microwave or oven and want to build it into your kitchen. Grab your cordless screwdriver and follow the steps below to build in your appliance:

Step 1. Unscrew the old appliance.

Step 2. Remove your old appliance.

Step 3. Place your new appliance.

Step 1: unscrew your old appliance

If you have an old appliance built in in the spot where you want to place the new microwave or oven, you have to remove it first. Open the door of your old appliance and remove the screws you see left and right.

Step 2: Removing your old device

You need 2 people to replace a built-in oven or microwave. Check if the connector of the oven or microwave is removed from the socket. Remove the appliance by pulling it towards you. Be careful, because the appliance is very heavy and it may have sharp edges. Make sure the connector doesn't get stuck.

Step 3: Placing your new device

First insert the plug into the niche before sliding the appliance into the space. Place the oven or microwave neatly in the center so that it's nicely aligned with your kitchen. You can the tighten the screws of the appliance on the left and right side with the cordless screwdriver.

Will this be the first oven in the kitchen? Remove the door from the cabinet you want to place it in. Lift the oven into the spot you want it in with 2 people. Mark the drill holes in pencil. Remove the oven from the cabinet and drill holes at the marks.
