What's a De'Longhi Dedica?
The De'Longhi Dedica is a compact piston machine for the beginner barista. You can prepare 1 or 2 espressos at the same time with this coffee machine, and you can froth milk for a cappuccino or latte macchiato with the steam wand. You can expand the piston machine with various barista tools. We'll explain more about the De'Longhi Dedica and what you can use it for.
Make 2 espressos at the same time
With the De'Longhi Dedica, you can make up to 2 espressos at the same time. You can use the included dual portafilter for this. Do you just want a single espresso? Choose the single portafilter. Press 1 of the buttons on top of the coffee machine to make your cup of coffee. Keep in mind that you still need a coffee grinder to grind your coffee.
Froth milk
Dedica: adjustable steam wand
With the Dedica, you can make a cappuccino or latte macchiato yourself too. You can use the adjustable steam wand for your own milk creation. With this steam wand, you can froth the milk yourself. You'll mostly use this steam wand if you froth milk occasionally. You have to purchase the milk pitcher separately.
Dedica Arte: My Latte Art steam wand
With the My Latte Art steam wand, you can create figures in your latte or cappuccino. Froth the milk first. Compared to the previous model, this steam wand is longer and more powerful. This makes it suitable for the beginner barista. This steam wand is the same one as the ones on the La Specialista series. The Dedica Arte includes a milk pitcher.
Accessories
Besides the De'Longhi Dedica, there are different accessories. That way, you'll have everything you need right away. For example, you'll be able to easily grind beans in the coffee grinder and tamp the ground coffee in the portafilter with the tamper. Did you make your coffee? You can knock the coffee grounds into the knock box. If you make milk specialties, you can use the milk pitcher to froth the milk for your cappuccino or latte macchiato.
