First impression of the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3

When I unpack the earbuds, I notice the nice design right away. The Momentum True Wireless 3 has a slightly sleeker finish than its predecessor, which gives it a more premium look. In the box, there's a USB-A to USB-C charging cable and different tip and ear hook sizes.

Find wearing comfort

To put the earbuds in my ears correctly, I try all of the included tip and ear hook sizes. Finding the right fit takes some time, because the earbuds don't feel very comfortable. Once I find the right tips and ear hooks, I can twist the earbuds in my ears. They feel pretty secure, but I wouldn't work out with these earbuds.

Clear and adjustable sound

Now that the earbuds are pretty secure in my ears, I can turn on my favorite music. The sound is clear and detailed, so vocals and instruments stand out well. The bass isn't powerful enough for me, so I activate the Bass Boost in the Sennheiser Smart Control app. This way, I can listen to a powerful bass with enough space for details in the sound.

Reduces voices pretty well

With noise canceling activated, I notice that the earbuds mostly reduce voices well. But the noise canceling doesn't reduce all ambient noise. I can still hear closing doors and my own typing on my keyboard. When I'm on my bike, I activate the wind noise reduction in the app. This way, I'm less bothered by the wind and can enjoy the music even more.

I can adjust the noise canceling and sound in the app, but I can also customize the functions of the control buttons. I can determine the actions of commands myself. The app is very extensive and very user-friendly, which makes these earbuds easy to use.

With these earbuds, I can listen to my favorite songs with a clear and detailed sound. The very extensive app allows me to amplify the bass. In addition, I can completely adjust the controls to my liking. Thanks to the noise canceling, I can focus on the task at hand and don't have to turn up the volume too much. It takes some time to find the right fit, but the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds are ideal for at home or for on the go once you find it. They're less suitable for walks, bike rides, and workouts.
