How often do you clean the milk system?

Step 1: remove all parts
1: take the milk reservoir from the machine and remove the lid 2: remove the milk spout and intake tube by pulling them 3: rotate the froth control dial to 'insert' on the right and remove the dial.
Step 2: clean the parts
- Wash all parts of the milk reservoir with hot water and a mild detergent.
- Look for milk residue in the notches in the side and bottom of the foam control dial. Scrape them loose with a toothpick.
- Rinse the inside of the foam control dial and the opening of the milk frother coupling under running water.
- Check that the froth and release nozzle no longer contain any milk residue. Use a toothpick for this.
Tip: you can also place the parts in the upper rack of the dishwasher. Note that the black lid shouldn't be placed in the dishwasher.
Step 3: place the milk reservoir back
- Attach the dial and align the arrow on the milk system with the text 'insert'
- Place the milk spout and intake tube back
- Put the milk reservoir back in the machine and put the lid on.
- Repeat these steps daily.
