Rediscover real coffee!

After many years of Senseo with a separate small espresso machine, switched to this Delonghi. Mainly because we are replacing two appliances for one (small countertop in the kitchen) and because the pad system for the Senseo is not really cheap (when drinking a lot of coffee) That is why the Nespresso system with the (ridiculously) expensive cups was absolutely not an option.

I can be short: this device is a REVELATION !

At a certain point we were without coffee beans (and the shops closed of course), so we brought out the Senseo again. I must confess that neither of us have finished our bags.

The water (limescale) filter that has to be placed in the tank is quite expensive and only lasts two months. If you have 'hard' water, this must be taken into account, since the appliance itself indicates when it needs to be descaled (it will continue to work, but a red light will flash). We take water through the (American) refrigerator, which also contains a filter or cheap bottled water.
