According to our kitchen knife expert
The icon on the back of the handle indicates which knife it is, so you can easily separate the knives.
The anti-slip structure on the handle ensures a good grip during cutting.
You can simply sharpen a smooth knife and use it to cut meat, fish, vegetables and herbs.
No extra accessories are included for maintenance.
The French Diamond Sabatier has been inspired by the Far East for the knives from the Riyouri series. The strong, high-alloy steel is ground in a razor-sharp Japanese sharpening angle. The Riyouri knives have a completely stainless steel design with a seamless finish, and are therefore particularly hygienic in use. The stainless steel handle also provides a firm grip with the anti-slip dimples. This Diamant Sabatier Riyouri Chef's knife is a real all-rounder. You use it to cut and finely chop larger quantities of meat, fish, vegetables and herbs. The blade is slightly round, so that you can make a swaying movement in addition to a cutting.
Ergonomics
Cutting performance
This knife fits perfectly in the hand, but the transition between handle and blade should be slightly better felt and visible. (therefore no perfect score for ergonomics). In terms of cutting, (herbs) chopping, etc., this knife is more than good. Very sharp and easy to steer. As a result, the herbs and vegetables that are processed are not crushed, as is often the case with more blunt and less qualitative knives. This knife can easily compete with its peers in the professional range of ¿200 and more. I myself was a bit skeptical about this until a friend assured me of the qualities of this knife and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. In the kitchen, cutting technique is often underestimated as being important for the end result. This kitchen tool will tell you right off the bat that this assumption is wrong. With this knife you can only blame yourself if the vegetables are crushed or pressed again, instead of cut. I don't know yet how long the sharpness will remain and how durable the knife is. (Short of possession) Obviously it will not go in the dishwasher and we will have to wait and see. A warning for people with (small) children: This knife is really extremely sharp. If a toddler finger falls under this, I'm afraid it's not just a cut. So keep it out of reach. In that context it is a pity that there is no cover or the like. supplied with the knife. Now you run the risk of 'accidentally' grabbing the blade with all the consequences that entails. Conclusion: an absolute must for those who take both cooking and their wallet seriously.

Top knife, fits perfectly in the hand. Is very sharp, next to a slice of steak there was also a small piece of my thumb. so definitely recommended but be careful.

Perfect chef's knife, well-shaped handle and perfect handling due to (small) length (you don't cut your fingers so easily). Good balance. Razor-sharp and very well packaged (protective cover + box with a molded bottom in which the knife can be clamped + plastic 'lid' of the box to close it properly.
