You can create an extra strong WiFi network in your home where you don't have coverage with the TP-Link TL-WA901N Access Point. Place this WiFi extender in the attic, for example, so you can also email and browse the internet with your smartphone there. The access point supports Power over Ethernet, so you can provide it with power via the network cable. This way, you don't need an extra socket where you place the access point. Don't feel like running wires? The device also functions as repeater. You can place the TL-WA901N in a place where you do have coverage. As a result, you can extend the existing WiFi network to the kitchen or study, for example.
Speed and range: fine Some older (g) clients can sometimes no longer connect. After a reboot of the AP it works again. The same clients have worked with D-link AP for 5 years without any problems. I already tried, fixed on wpa2 instead of auto, short guard interval off, wmm off. But the same behavior remains. So not recommended. And I'm not the only one. Just google "TLWA901ND problem".

Been using it for a while and haven't had any problems with it yet. Installing was very easy (web based) and I was able to set up my network SSID with the necessary WPA2 security without any problems. The access point comes with a PoE injector which makes installation a lot easier. If you only want to set up 1 SSID, this is definitely recommended.

Works, wifi connection is passed on so that there is now a connection where it was very poor before. Good device, some searching to install correctly, but it works.
