I like this monopod. I use it in combination with a manfrotto monopod tripod head to give my camera more stability when shooting macro and it works very well. For me weight and size was the most important and this is about the smallest monopod available. I find the turning mechanism to block the extension works faster than the levers Manfrotto uses. Fully extended, the viewfinder of my camera is just below eye level (I am 1.85m tall). Tip: if you use a tripod head, you can completely remove the wheel at the top to make everything even more compact.
