Doubted between circular saw with battery or with plug. Glad I chose the latter because of higher power. To cut less coarse, I did buy an extra saw blade with more teeth. The supplied guide rails and glue clamps are very useful for simple and accurate straight cuts. The splinter collector is nice if you don't have a construction vacuum cleaner. Keep in mind that it does not collect particulate matter! The circular saw is (except for the collecting tray) made of very solid materials.
