This is my first air conditioner. Putting it together is a snap and it's on within 30 minutes. Placing the hose in the "adapters" is a thing. Strange that no one is writing about this. I have now taped it to the fittings so that it doesn't pop out again and again. How do others do this? The sound is actually a minus and a plus. Of course there is a blowing noise but not terrible or bothersome. Actually, this is fine to do. The cooling is good. Our bedroom is now lovely. Dragging it up is difficult, the air conditioning weighs 30 kg. Daily moving from top to bottom is impossible. Because of the heat, this air conditioner was one of the last because everything is currently sold out. But this Sencor is a great purchase and is a luxury device. This does not appear to have a thermostat, but that is less bad with this heat. If these are back in stock I will buy a 2nd one for the living room. So very satisfied with this one.
