Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our camera lens expert
The 85-millimeter focal length lets you capture distant subjects.
Thanks to the maximum aperture of f/1.4, you can take photos in low light.
With the switch on the lens, you can turn off the clicks of the aperture ring for videos.
This lens isn't water-resistant, so you have to be careful in the rain.
The Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM is a versatile telephoto lens for your Sony APS-C or full-frame mirrorless camera. Its fixed 85-millimeter focal length lets you easily take professional portrait photos. With the maximum f/1.4 aperture, you can shoot without worry in challenging lighting situations and create soft background blur in your photos. You can capture your subject sharply with a blurred background, so the attention goes to the person in your portrait. Do you like recording videos with your camera? The lens has a switch that lets you turn off the clicks of the aperture ring. This way, you won't hear the clicking sounds in your recordings, and you can keep filming without interruptions.
fantastic portrait lens, not the fastest but the best quality, if you don't have to look at weight.
