According to our baby monitor expert
The battery of the parent unit lasts 24 hours at most, which is longer than comparable models.
Comfort your little one with 5 lullabies, two-way audio, and a soft night light.
With the VOX function, you save battery life, because only the parent unit will go off if your child makes a sound.
The range of a DECT baby monitor isn't as large as that of a PMR baby monitor.
The Alecto DBX-88 ECO DECT baby monitor uses DECT technology that makes it 100% interference-free. The sensitivity of the microphone can be set in 5 steps. That way, you decide how much sound you want to hear. In addition, a couple of LED lights come on automatically when there's a sound. You see and hear that there's a sound. To calm the little one when they are crying, you can talk to them via the parent unit. Besides that, you can control the baby monitor from a distance to have it play lullabies or turn on the night light.
A baby monitor with battery is comparable to a smartphone that drains its battery whenever you're watching a video. Meaning, the battery life is limited.Sound quality

We already had 2 at home to great satisfaction and just bought this model again for our third.
A good device for a good price. The range is good, the battery lasts long enough and it accepts regular rechargeable batteries, so you can replace them over time (we put in new, even stronger ones after 2 years). The sound quality and sensitivity is excellent compared to other baby monitors. Never had interference or noises from other baby monitors.
Remotely controlling the music and talk-back function has saved us many a walk. The tunes have a soothing effect and the lights are just soft enough.

I woke up several times last night because the baby monitor beeped "no contact". I don't understand why this could be, but I'm obviously not happy if I'm awake at night from the baby monitor instead of my twins. The babies are two rooms away.
