According to our television expert
Thanks to the OLED screen, you'll get an image with high contrast ratio and natural colors.
The WebOS 2.0 operating system neatly brings together live television, apps, and internet.
You can wirelessly connect your television to the internet using WiFi.
You can't watch images in UHD resolution on this television.
This television doesn't have a headphone jack.
With the LG 55EG9A7V, you'll be watching lifelike images. This OLED TV combines bright colors with deep shades of black to ensure every image is shown true to nature. Images look realistic, so you'll be fully immersed in movies and documentaries. The TV screen has a curved design, the way it's usually found in movie theaters. This curve makes the TV look bigger, so you'll experience every movie as if you're right in the middle of it. Connect the TV to the internet and use convenient apps to rent movies and watch TV shows. All the apps are displayed on one overview screen, so you can switch quickly between different media.
I bought this television to replace my old plasma TV. After a long wait finally found a worthy replacement. The black levels are beautiful, and the image simply radiates warm colors with endlessly beautiful contrast. This TV has the same image quality features as my trusted plasma, only 10x better!!! Smart TV functions work quickly, and are more than sufficiently available, and to my surprise, the sound that comes from this TV is certainly sufficient. I can only go on about the reliability on other reviews as I haven't owned the device for a long time, but the installation of the TV requires 2 people, which I think is a small minus; it is also very thin, so some caution when cleaning and installing is a must.

Switched from Panasonic Plasma to OLED. Consciously opted for HD instead of 4K. Rode? No channel broadcasts in 4k, not even full HD at 1080p. Upscaling from 1080i to 4k is more problematic than to 1080p. In addition, we are watching from more than 3 meters and then the difference between 4k and full HD is no longer visible. The 4k videos on YouTube prove that, they give a great image on this HD OLED. It's the same movies they run in the stores. Feel free to ask to put this OLED next to a 4k and play the same video: really no difference if you're standing at 2 meters or more. Add to that the fact that this TV is on average 500 euros cheaper. The only drawback is the somewhat slower working WEBOS 2.2, instead of the new 3.5, but slower is the only minus factor, the operation is just as good in the end: flawless streaming of Netflix, Videoland, YouTube, etc. Just a top TV for a sharp price.

My journey started with the purchase of a Sony LCD 55 ex900. The experts know that this TV is widely praised. The greater was my disappointment. Image quality was mediocre and the handling was dramatic. After seeing an F1 race, the size was packed for me and sent back. When the LG bought OLED. What a difference in quality. Excellent motion as well as color. The TV is a joy to watch. At first hesitant because it was not 4k but I was wrong. The upscaling of normal TV is excellent dare say that this TV is sharper and tighter than 4k. I am very pleased and convinced that Oled currently delivers the very best image quality. What also surprised me is the sound. That is very good with this TV, the bass is clearly present and a soundbar is unnecessary for me. In short, a top product.
