I used to be more of an audiophile and rock/pop listener. To give you an idea: my audio system consists of KEF loudspeakers and DENON amplifier. At the moment I mainly listen (and a lot) classically and I bought 1 pair of EDIFIER for my PC (same type and power but without bluetooth) where I often listen to classical and these are not inferior to the KEF's in terms of sound experience, occasionally techno and rock sounds pretty good on the EDIFIERS too and I wouldn't regret using this as a sole install. Although the KEFs continue to have a deeper bass and clearer highs. Recently bought a 2nd pair of these EDIFIERS (with bluetooth and optical output) for my TV and again very satisfied. Although the trebles are again only just sufficient when set to max, in principle these trebles are sufficient, but a little reserve would be an extra plus for recordings that are recorded with less treble. I set the bass for the TV all the way to minus and still give enough deep bass for TV. I can not imagine that an expensive soundbar does better .

The sound quality is still quite good considering the price. Don't expect Hi-Fi. The bass is very present, but to get a "flat curve" out of it is a bit of a search. The Bass button plays around 100Hz, making it "woolly" if too loud. In the Mid-High, the 4KHz is sometimes a bit too present. And the Treble has to be turned up quite a bit to have enough clarity. But for that price it's still good. It is OK to hang on the TV or PC. However, the remote control is rubbish: much too small and plasticy...

I thought about it for a week before purchasing. I am a hi-end freak, and was concerned about the sound. but...... after installing and listening to a few audio file CDs, unbelievable what comes out of those speakers, detail, spread and certainly enough bass.
