Nice alarm system. Easy to get in with, among other things, a simple installation and not too expensive base, and then easy to expand with extra sensors, cameras, remote controls (keyfobs) and the like. The privacy shutter, closing the camera when you are at home, is nice, but of course a bit gimmicky.

It is also very nice that Somfy does not immediately try to sell you an expensive subscription. You will receive SMS and app updates of your alarm, for example, at no extra cost. During the holiday month, for example, you can pay 5 euros so that the camera records 24/7 instead of only recording fragments upon detection. So it feels much less pushy than some competitors.

All in all, an attractive overall picture, with attractive products and accessories, although Somfy does not lack competitors; for this price we sometimes also see complete alarm kits, although we like that you don't have to mess around with SIM cards, etc., Plug & play convenience, and that is also worth something.
