Sony SEL 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS

A nice compact and light lens with a nice zoom range. Makes it an ideal lens to go out with or to travel around on holiday without changing lenses. The photos are razor sharp and of a better quality than the standard supplied lens. The quality is just very good over the entire zoom range. When the lens is fully zoomed in, the total length of the lens is only slightly longer (about 2.5 cm). This is a lot more with other lenses with this zoom range. The light sensitivity is of course slightly less when zooming in, but due to the built-in image stabilization that is actually no problem.

Ideal lens for all-round photography, portrait (with enough light) but also landscape. So far very happy with the quality. I have this lens with the sony a6000. Also in possession of a Nikon D5000 with an 18-105 mm lens. Quality with this Sony + lens is very good. Focusing is easy and fast. Sharpness depth quality very good, I no longer have the 'need' to buy a 50mm f1.8 lens, for example. The lens is heavy compared to the body, but a lot lighter than SLR. Happy with this all-round lens!

I like this telephoto lens very much. It is very manageable in weight and the size is also fine. I've lugged a huge horn in the analog era, but it went from 80-200mm. And I also doubted between this and the 18-200mm. But I chose this one and it suits me very well. I am very satisfied with the sharpness, also nice that it has an image stabilizer. Although I had read in some reviews that it slides a bit stiffly, I experience it as smooth. So that will be very personal. We can complain about the price, but all lenses are expensive. It would indeed be nice if they could be sold for a little less money.
