Ok, done for years with a Philips FC9334 PowerPro compact. Never been really happy with it. The suction power also became less and less over the years, despite the regular replacement of all filters. Now the frustration was so high by trying to suck up a grain 6 times each time that I thought, done with it, I need a new, powerful vacuum cleaner.

After some deliberation between the AEG (well tested CB), but still some varying reactions here and there, finally this Miele. The Powerline, not the EcoLine. Consciously, because I want really good suction this time. Most of it is wooden floors with cracks that this Miele really gets vacuumed clean. And you are done faster with 1x over it instead of 2 times and then I think you are more economical than a 500W piston where you have to do everything 2x. I once again have the idea that you should take those CB tests with a huge bowl of salt and how independent they still are I wonder more and more. So don't let this guide you.

What made me doubt is the sound of the vacuum cleaner, but that is not too bad for me. The Philips that should be a little quieter sounded much louder, the Miele has a less sharp sound.
