According to our solid state drive (SSD) expert
With a speed of 3400 MB / s, this drive reads data up to 7 times faster than SATA SSDs.
Thanks to automatic energy management and heat control, your internal SSD lasts longer.
Thanks to the cloning software of WD you can easily transfer your old files.
A mounting plate to install the SSD in a PC is missing.
Due to the M key this M.2 SSD is not compatible with every motherboard.
The WD Black 3D NAND SSD 500 GB M.2 is an internal SSD for desktops and laptops that perform heavy tasks. With a high read speed of 3400 MB / s and writing speed of 2200 MB / s, this SSD is about 7 times faster than a traditional 2.5 inch SSD drive. As a result, your PC starts up in seconds and all your games and applications are immediately on screen. Thanks to the 3D NAND technology, the SSD is more energy-efficient than comparable models. This means your laptop lasts longer on 1 battery charge. With the specially developed WD SSD Dashboard software you keep an eye on the speed of your drive. Thanks to the cloning software you transfer files easily so that you have your data again.

Recently purchased and had never seen such a disc in real life. Installation was quite easy, and worked right out-of-the-box. I can only recommend such a disc. SSD is already very fast, but such an M.2 makes an SSD feel slow. All in all, a very affordable and solid upgrade for a PC as primary drive!

I first had an M2 SSD, but decided to buy an NVMe SSD, and that was a good choice! I get a write speed of 2430 Mb/s and read speed of 2750 Mb/s. With a normal SSD you get at most 500Mbs. Almost 5x as fast. The 500Gb of this NVMe SSD is also a bit extra, great to boot my computer and do enough with it. Recommended!
