Works well straight out of the box (tested with Ethernet connection, HDMI display, USB-A peripherals and USB-C external SSD). So now no extra Thunderbolt 3 connection (which is not a problem, since the macbook pro itself has 4, but it would have been nice to only have to connect 1 cable when I work at home with my laptop). The nice thing is that you don't have to connect an extra power adapter, the power supply for the laptop comes from the docking station itself. On/off button does nothing, or does not work with the macbook pro.
