Bought this one to connect my 2 4K 27" AOC screens to my 2017 Macbook Pro and got rid of all those extra cables but was a bit disappointed with the performance. First off, you already have to install drivers and/or software, something that you are not used to a Mac as it is usually plug and play.After that the performance was also disappointing.A lot of "lag" on my mouse movements and stuttering scrolling in all my windows.Especially if you have multiple Spaces (extra virtual desktops) Switching between HDMI or DisplayPort cables didn't help, it's partly due to the software and the fact that you only connect 1 usb-c cable between the laptop and the docking station, which then has to send all the data and you're not using the full power of your graphics card. My solution was to buy 2 extra cables (usb-c <> male displayport) and connect them directly to the usb-c/thunderbolt 3 ports of the Macbook. Then your Mac will recognize all screens and you can fully enjoy top performance. But now I'm back with multiple cables on my Mac, this docking station is now rather a glorified and expensive dongle.
