I bought this scanner to digitize my notes / sketchnotes. So far I've used a flatbed scanner that performed moderately, this works much better.

Of course I immediately turned off the auto button, but that meant I had to go to Canon's website first to look for drivers. When I had everything up and running, I went through the manual and found out that you can scan immediately in car mode because the scanner then works like a USB disk with a scanning program on it.

Yet I often use it with a separate scan program (Naps2), because it is easier to change settings there.

I am very happy with the quality of the colors and the scanning resolution. The disadvantage is that you cannot scan books with such a scanner, only loose leaves or photos
