Description
Print, scan, fax, and copy in color with the HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw. With a print speed of up to 18 pages per minute, this printer is suitable for intensive home users or employees of a small company. With the automatic document feeder, you can scan or copy an entire stack of documents at once. You can scan various documents, such as ID cards or books. You can make text editable and you can save books as an e-book. You can connect the 179fnw to your network both wired and wirelessly. Once it's connected to your network, you can easily print via your network or WiFi from your computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. You can print up to 700 pages in color with the pre-installed toner cartridge.
Printer with dynamic security
Certain HP printers only work with cartridges that have new or reused HP chips or electronic HP circuits. These printers use dynamic security measures to block cartridges with chips or electronic circuits aren't from HP. Periodic firmware updates keep the effectiveness of these measures intact and can block cartridges that used to work before. Reused HP cartridges and electronic HP make the use of reused, recycled, and refilled cartridges possible.

Good printer for home use
- Prints well and prints quietly

Fast reception by Coolblue. Bought two identical printers for the office (SME). Easy to install until registration on WIFI network. Prints quietly and prints well. I find the protruding drawer particularly disturbing. Moreover, it does not immediately make the printer very compact in dimensions. When installing the printer via WIFI, it turned out that not all punctuation marks can be entered. If you have a punctuation mark in the WiFi password, you cannot install this function yourself. Referred to HP by Coolblue customer service. After contacting HP customer service, it appears that the WIFI can be installed via a detour (by not doing a 'layman'). But that the WIFI is unstable for this type of printer. The device is suitable for home use. It is now possible to print with one printer. Connected to the network, wireless printing is possible. The other printer purchased will be returned. Received good personal advice from HP for a different type of printer.
