According to our monitor expert
With the 4K resolution, the monitor displays games 4 times sharper than in Full HD.
You can sit in front of the screen with 2 or more people thanks to the IPS panel with a wide viewing angle.
Thanks to the integrated speakers, you don't need external speakers to play sound.
4K makes text and icons smaller and you can't always enlarge these.
You can edit photos or videos in more detail or play games in 4K resolution with the iiyama ProLite XUB2792UHSU-B1. Since this monitor has a resolution of 4K, the image is 4 times sharper than that of a Full HD monitor. On top of that, the monitor is tiltable by 90 degrees. That way, you can turn the screen while you work in large text files so you have a longer image. The IPS technology provides a clearer contrast between colors and a wide viewing angle. As such, it doesn't matter whether or not you're directly in front of the screen. You can easily sit in front of it with 2 or more people. You can also adjust the monitor's height for a more ergonomic working position.
Note: As a result of 4K resolution, text and icons become smaller. You can't always enlarge these. For a 4k output, you need a modern laptop or PC with a fairly powerful video card. Make sure it has at least a DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0, or Thunderbolt 2 connector.

Design
For the price you certainly can't complain, after all: you get a 10 bit, 4K, 75Hz, IPS panel. Normally you are in a price range above 500 euros for this. However, with this screen, the screen does not focus completely, despite the 4K. You can set this via the settings of the screen itself (from soft to sharp) but when you click sharp, it is quite velvety and rather contrived. The letters are rather boxed, as if you can count the pixels. Hard to explain. When you click a step back, the letters are rather blurry and out of focus. There is a kind of twilight around. When I compare this with the HP U27 4K monitor that costs 519 euros, you notice a significant difference. You may be satisfied with this iiyama if you don't know anything better. The sound is not super good, but not super bad either. Again, for the price you can't complain. Finally: the screen feels well built, can be easily slid up or down and this feels sturdy. Screen can also be rotated.

Great for the Price, but if you really want two screens next to each other seamlessly, this may not be the best choice. Just fine for average use.

Nice screen for a competitive price, but this is not a 75Hz, but a 60Hz screen! Other sites do mention 60Hz. Nevertheless, recommended.
