According to our television expert
Thanks to the rotating screen, you use The Sero on its side and upright.
The QLED screen has a clear and pure color representation.
The Samsung Smart Hub conveniently combines live television, apps, and internet.
The television doesn't have a headphone jack.
The Samsung The Sero is a stylish 4K television with a rotating screen. That way, you use the TV on its side to watch films and series, and upright to use apps from your smartphone or watch vertical videos. When you connect your mobile phone to the television, the screen will automatically rotate based on what you're watching. Thanks to the QLED screen, images have a high brightness and realistic color representation. The stylish stand has 4 speakers and a subwoofer. You can play music or enjoy realistic sounds when you watch a movie. The Samsung Smart Hub gives you access to live television, connected devices, and apps, such as Netflix and YouTube. That way, you'll be streaming your favorite series in no time.
The Samsung the Sero is great! How beautiful it looks in our living room. You no longer need a separate TV cabinet and all cables are nicely concealed in the foot of the TV. Even with the Portrait mode option, this TV doesn't take up much space. The image quality is very nice and clear. I enjoy watching movies with the Netflix app. How nice is it that you can just turn on the movies in Netflix directly from your phone to the TV. The image is so beautiful that it looks like you are in the cinema. The sound is so good that I no longer have to bother to follow the series or movie. The image is very nice and sharp and gives an enormous peace of mind and to your eyes. Delicious! The kids absolutely love the YouTube app. They now watch their favorite YouTube videos on the nice big TV screen. With Spotify you have an incredibly beautiful sound in the foot of the TV. The Portrait mode is super handy. Have fun scrolling through Facebook on the TV. View all photos from your phone in large format in portraid mode. Very nice. Searching for something on the internet together is also very useful. You can stream everything from your phone to the TV. I use the remote control on the phone in the samsung Smart Things app. It's great that you can control everything with it. What I don't like is the fabric upholstery on the standard. I have now discovered that you can carefully knock it out and it will be nice and clean again. The TV is quite far back. Unfortunately, you cannot adjust this yourself. But really a super super nice TV.

I have had the sero for over a week now, I enjoy watching television with very nice sound. I don't need a sound bar anymore. The color is moi, black and deep blue. Fits perfectly in my living room, all apps are easy to operate with the included simple but versatile remote control or by phone.
So far very satisfied, the first days only watched netflix and prime video, but I have also connected television. Very nice picture and sound. Playing tiktok and subway surf (game) vertically is very easy and very cool. Especially making a movie with the TV in the background. The reactions of viewers: do you have a really big phone??!! hahah
Already a few weeks of viewing pleasure with The Sero. You don't really notice the fact that the stream slopes diagonally behind you when you look at it. We also have a large sofa, but wherever you sit the image remains clearly visible. Tried portrait mode with time indicated. Very handy, but I'm not sure yet if I would leave it on by default. It does look very beautiful. Everyone who comes to visit wants one too. Especially friends with teenage children.

After getting acquainted with the Samsung Flip as a presentation tool, we were very curious about “the Sero”. We increasingly use our smartphone to watch and cast videos. Since the whole family uses Samsung devices, we had to get “The Sero” at home.
The first thing you notice when installing is the weight of this unit. It's pretty heavy. You have to be with 2 to safely take it out of the box, that is also indicated on the packaging.
The manual is very simple and means that preparing the device for use only takes a few minutes.
Booting up was also very smooth and the connection to the Samsung S20+ was almost automatic.
It is enough to touch the top right corner with a Samsung Smartphone and you are connected in no time. I've read in other reports that the image quality should not be top, but I can't say then. I think the quality of the screen is quite ok and the sound quality is more than ok. “The Sero” has a nice full sound that surpasses many other TVs.
Also the response speed with which the screen rotates is impressive. You just have to tilt your smartphone and the screen tilts with it.
The children mainly use “The Sero” for gaming. They can now play the games that they normally play on the smartphone on a large screen, which provides a completely different experience.
Conclusion: We recommend it.
