Description
Provide your garden with a modern wall lamp with the Philips Hue Nyro. You mount this wall lamp to the wall or fence to get atmospheric lighting in the garden. That's because you can choose the light that matches your activity with the Hue app. You can choose warm light if you want to relax, or cheerful and colorful lighting during a garden party. The built-in LED lights light up in 16 million colors and all shades of white. You control the lighting with the Hue app, which you can also use to configure the lights to switch on automatically when you arrive home. Or link them to the sunset, so your garden always stays lit.
Note: this Philips Hue outdoor lighting only works in combination with a bridge.

I bought two of these outdoor lamps for our backyard. I use them in combination with a Philips Hue outdoor sensor. I have set the lamp to a timer via the app. They are then set to the 'Relaxed' atmosphere with half the brightness. When moving, the lamp goes to the 'Bright' atmosphere with full brightness for 1 minute. What I think is cool is that the lamps do not suddenly switch on when they are (de)activated or when they are moved, but gradually (say fade in or fade out). It is also good to know that this lamp can only be hung with a power supply that comes from the wall (so no surface power). So I had to cut a piece out of the steel housing and drill some holes on the inside. Then seal it again to make it waterproof. Looks neat and works well, but be aware.
