I was looking forward to it because this monitor is simple and to the point: no speakers and other extras, no hassle. The menu and buttons are good, the picture is normal/ok. Everything seemed fine until I restarted my laptop and found that once this screen goes into sleep mode, it stays in sleep mode when your PC boots up again. Even if you turn it off and on again with the power button, there is supposedly no HDMI signal (while there is indeed). You have to unplug the cable and plug it back in to get the picture. Well piped, HP. It is unimaginable that a basic function of a simple screen does not work. Iiyama (my next pick) does better.
