The first thing I noticed was the shrill and annoying compressor noise the unit made in cooling mode. Something that both my partner and I really can't get used to after a night of testing. (The old air conditioner was much quieter, and gave a deeper hum than this unit).
The next day I measured again and at 2m distance the dB meter indicated 80dB when the compressor started, and on average 72dB in cooling mode. Much louder than the advertised value. If you are a light sleeper, or sensitive to irregular sounds, I would really look further.
I am also not satisfied with the air displacement. Of course you are aware that you are buying a heavy air conditioner for larger spaces, but you expect that a silent mode or 'night mode' provides a somewhat more pleasant setting.
