Return requirements

What are the return requirements?

Within 30 days, you can register your product for return. You can do this via the online return form.

  • After registration, you'll have another 14 days to return your product for free.
  • You can choose between exchanging your product for free, or have your money refunded.
  •  To get the full purchase price back, it's important to return your product in its original condition and undamaged. For example: take a pan out of the box and look at it from all sides, but don't cook with it.

After 30 days you can register your product for repair. You can also do this via the online return form.

  • You have 2 years warranty on your product.

What are the exceptions to returns?

Understandably, you can't return the following items

  • Software that has been unsealed. That means you can't return the latest FIFA game after playing a match.
  • Opened personal care products.
  • Digital activation codes for software such as Microsoft Office.
  • Vouchers, gift cards, and coupons. Even if they haven't been used.
  • Cartridges and toner cartridges of which the protection and foil is removed.

We don't refund money for correctly performed services of postal workers and technicians. This includes

  • installation and installation costs
  • redeemed vouchers for build-in and/or installation
  • costs for special shipping options such as time slot delivery

Can I try out a product at home?

Yes, you can try the product like you would in the store.

Don't like the product? You can return it. It's important to return your product in the original condition and packaging. That way, we can make someone else happy with it.

Can I return one of the products from my order?

Yes. You can return all products from your order separately. In the online return form, you can indicate which product you want to return.

Why do I get back less money for my returned product?

Your product likely wasn't returned in its original condition. In that case, we determine what the depreciation is based on the state of the product. The maximum depreciation is 25%.

The final amount you receive is determined by two things:

  1. The depreciation of the product. That's based on three factors:
  • damage to the product;
  • damaged packaging;
  • completeness of the product.
  1. The costs that we have to make to resell the product. Think of taking clear photos and writing a good description. These costs are € 7.50 and are deducted along with the depreciation.

Will I get the full purchase amount back after I return my product?

Almost always. But it does depend on the condition of your product. To get the full purchase price back, it's important to return your product in its original condition and undamaged. This way, we can make someone else happy with a new product.

Otherwise, we'll determine what the depreciation is based on the condition of your product.

Can I exchange my product in the store?

Yes. Take your product to one of our stores. Don't know which product you want to exchange it for? Our experts are happy to help you find a product that suits you better. You don't have to register your product via the website, but it's a good idea to keep your order number ready.

Already know which product you want to exchange it for?

  1. Order your new product to reserve it.
  2. Indicate that you want to pick up your product in the store when you complete your order. You won't have to pay yet.
  3. In most cases, you'll be able to pick up your new product the same day or the next day. We'll let you know as soon as your new product is ready in the store.

What if I want to exchange my product for a cheaper product? We'll deposit the difference back in your account. You can only get a cash refund if you paid in cash. We'll refund up to € 50 in cash.

What if I want to exchange my product for a more expensive product? You can pay the difference.

Yes, Second Chance products have the same return requirements as new products. You can easily register your return in the online return form.

Do you repair my product, or will I get a new one?

If your product breaks not by your own doing and within 30 days after purchase, you'll get a new one. Does your product break after 30 days? We'll repair your product.

How do I get my money back if I return or cancel my order?

You get your money back as CoolblueCredit. Your credit will be in your account within 5 working days. With this, you can buy another eco-friendly product.

Can I return or cancel a product that I purchased with a gift card?

Yes. We'll won't refund the money back to the gift card, but we'll put it on your account as shop credit.
