According to our television expert
Thanks to the Neo QLED screen, you can watch detailed, colorful images with a higher brightness and more powerful contrast than other Samsung TVs.
The Neo Quantum Processor 8K improves images to an 8K resolution, so small details of the images are clearly visible.
You connect peripherals to the TV with 1 transparent cable via the sleekly designed Slim One Connext Box.
Full HD or 4K content won't appear as sharp as 8K content, but there's still little 8K content available.
With the Samsung Neo QLED 8K 65QN900A, you can enjoy bright and realistic images. There are thousands of tiny small lights behind the screen that illuminate and dim individually. This is called Neo QLED. Thanks to this technology, the peak brightness and contrast of this TV are very high. That means that you can watch TV during the day undisturbed, since the TV also manages to display dark images like a starry night with deep black levels. In addition, the color gamut of 1 billion colors (10 bit) and HDR support ensure true-to-life colors. As a result, you see every subtle color difference in the turf during a soccer match or in the feathers of a tropical bird in a David Attenborough documentary. The 8k resolution ensures that every detail is visible on the large 65-inch screen. If you stream or watch 4K resolution content, the smart Neo Quantum processor converts it to sharp 8K images.
The Slim One Connect Box is a separate box. It's the 'computer' of the TV, where you'll find all of the connectors. This way, the design of the QN900A remains slim and stylish. Only one thin, transparent cable runs from the One Connect Box to the TV. You can easily click this thin box onto the back of the TV stand and create a minimalist TV setup. Thanks to the Infinity Screen design, you'll see almost no bezel around the screen. The SolarCell One Remote has a solar cell, so it charges in the light. In addition, you can control both the TV and the peripherals with it.
There are several speakers behind the screen. These follow the movements on the screen, thanks to the Object Tracking Sound Pro technology. That means you can hear someone running towards you in an action movie or a plane flying over from left to right. The subwoofers on the back of the 65QN900A provide an extra deep bass. The TV supports Q-Symphony, so you can synchronize the sound and use it with a soundbar that supports this technology too. As a result, you get a deeper and more spatial surround sound.
Are you an avid gamer? You'll like this TV. Connect your console to the HDMI 2.1 connector with the right 2.1 cable to get the most out of your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. That way, you can enjoy games in 4K resolution with a 100Hz refresh rate. This results in smoothly-moving images. Thanks to the FreeSync and Variable Refresh Rate, you won't be bothered by screen tearing either.
a beautiful new generation of television with unparalleled image quality. With 8k promotional videos you see every detail and has beautiful colors. Together with a good sound it gives a cinema experience at home. Nice thin screen, the leg is slightly larger but that is behind it, it can also be hung, Good view from all sides, only when turned off, it has some reflection, but I don't find it disturbing. Highly recommended for people who love image and sound.

I was able to test the Samsung 65QN900A in combination with the Samsung soundbar HW950A. It is a huge TV, which clearly states on the box how to unpack it. Since the TV is large and heavy, you have to be two to put it upright. Installing is very easy via the AB or via your phone. You do need a Samsung account. The TV recognizes what you connect to the ports. The TV is equipped with various apps, including those of all streaming services, three of which are on the AB. Netflix, Prime Video and Samsung TV plus. What a beautiful image, no borders all over the image. Even though it is reflective, you don't have to worry about it. The image is perfect from every viewing angle and you are not bothered by light. When watching an 8K movie trailer, it is as if the person is actually sitting in your living room a bit sharp. Beautiful true colors, sharp image, smooth transition (not perceptible). Sound from TV works together with the soundbar and forms a whole. Nice slim simple remote control, without batteries. The AB is easy to activate and simple to understand. Is charged by daylight, so never empty batteries again. Can also charge via USB. A clear manual is available in the TV, so use is easy. TV does get hot
