Description

The Philips Hue Enrave S Ceiling Lamp Black is a small ceiling lamp with a built-in smart light. You can mount this ceiling lamp near a power socket and connect it to your smartphone via Bluetooth. That allows you to set the light to different shades of white light. Choose a dim warm white light during an romantic dinner, warm light to relax, or bright light if you want to concentrate, for example. You can do that via the app or voice assistant. If you want more options, add a bridge. This way, you set timers, add more than 10 lights and control the lights wherever you are.

Excellent light source.

  • Good bright lamp.
  • Easy to link to existing Hue Bridge.
  • Requires drilling in ceiling.

Great ceiling lamp, gives great light. I already had an existing Bridge, and pairing was ready in seconds. Reaction speed is also slightly faster than the older (GU10) spots, so there is definitely an improvement. Requires some drilling though. This is because it does not fit on a standard Central Box. Not a big disaster, but something to keep in mind.

  • Not prepared for attachment to central box

Ceiling lamp with a modern look. Too bad that the ceiling lamp is not prepared to be attached to the central box in the room. So I drilled two small holes in the ceiling lamp myself because it is possible. That's better than drilling 3 holes in the concrete ceiling.
