This is not the case with the aforementioned "first generation", there the buttons are tighter in the controller and you can't even get a pin between the buttons.

This will not be a problem for most users, but for the fanatic it is an annoying point. So since I just received a second replacement controller with the same "problem", it seems to be a common thing. It is enough reason for me to return the product and to consider the Elite controller.
