The Asustor AS6702T is a NAS, suitable for both home use and a small office. The Asustor AS6702T has a user-friendly interface and offers many different apps to work with. I myself downloaded Asustor AiMaster (general), AiData (for smartphones and tablets) and AiMusic (streaming music).
Easy to install and build in In addition to the Asustor, the box also contains 2 internet cables, mounting materials for the hard drives and a power cable. The drive bays easily detached from the NAS and quickly clicked back into the device without any problems. When the NAS is ready for use, you will hear a loud beep. This is not to be missed and also makes it easy to get started with the NAS right away.
Fast with files The AS6702T is equipped with 4 gigabytes of RAM and a quad core Intel Xeon processor. This makes it powerful enough for use with more than 10 people at the same time. I asked a number of colleagues to log in with me and to execute a number of commands. This went smoothly, without delays or other problems. Uploading went smoothly, also supported by the powerful internet connection from the office.
Lots of variety in apps The user-friendliness of the NAS is mainly reflected in the number of apps. AiMaster offers a quick overview of your NAS and you can simply download it from the Google Play Store or Apple Store. AiData gives access to all files and data on the NAS, which you can open from your smartphone. Handy when you're on the road, or want to watch a series on vacation. With AiMusic, I easily streamed the backup of my Spotify library without touching my phone's storage.

The hardware of the NAS is strong and fast, and you effectively get an 8bay nas if you also count the 4 SSD slots. It has many options in the app store, although most of them are third party applications. Applications from Asustor such as photo and camera apps could still improve a bit.

Very fast and silent NAS. Expanded with 16 GB RAM (2 x 8 GB). To install the 2nd ram disk you have to disassemble the NAS.
