Bamix Superbox Red

I don't know if it's the same with other kitchen trills, but I'm impressed with this one: I was following a recipe for tomato soup. According to step 6, after vibrating, I had to pass the soup through a sieve to get the pulp out. Seriously, I've put 1.5 kilos of very big, very serious, truss tomato boys in the soup, and graze with the Bamix for 2 minutes and there really isn't any pulp to be found in the soup. Nothing. nada. none. I suspect cheap machines can't do that. And this machine didn't have the slightest difficulty with it, you can feel that when you hold the device. Costs a mountain, but then you clearly have a mountain of quality in your hands.

I believe this is a good toy for the hobby chef. (Which I'm not, because I hate cooking. So for me it's EXTRA important that I have good tools, otherwise I won't last). I have no opinion about the rest of the contents of the box yet.

My mom also has a bamix and she still says it was the best purchase she has made. Now 37 years old and still doing it! I've had it for 5 years now, and I'm very satisfied with it, use it almost daily, it's very easy to keep clean and you hardly hear it. Costs something, but then you also have something. Top product!!

What started out as a fantastic purchase turned into pure misery after just three months. The hand blender started to produce an unbearable squeaking sound, making it virtually unusable. Bamix then repeatedly failed to find a solution. The appliance was sent in for repair three times—three times it came back without the problem being adequately resolved. Their response? The defect was simply dismissed as “not serious enough,” and further repair was refused.

Only after calling in a lawyer were we finally listened to, but what Bamix offered us as a replacement was downright insulting: a second-hand hand blender, incomplete, damaged and with food residue on the blades. This bordered on fraud, and was the last straw. We demanded a refund—because after such scandalous treatment, confidence in the brand had completely disappeared.

Fortunately, Coolblue did take responsibility and eventually helped us quickly, in stark contrast to Bamix's negligence.

Bamix has not only failed in product quality, but also in customer service, integrity and basic respect for the consumer. Stay far away from this brand!
