According to our television expert
Thanks to the matte screen and the included wall mount, you can hang the television to your wall like a real painting.
You can connect all of your peripherals to the TV with a transparent cable via the One Connect Box.
The 10-bit QLED screen ensures a rich and detailed color representation.
You have to request the removable frame from Samsung when you receive the TV.
Due to the edge lit local dimming, black parts of the screen aren't always truly black.
The Samsung The Frame 43LS03B (2023) is a stylish television that's only 25mm thick and blends into your interior as a painting on the wall. Because the TV has a matte screen, light barely reflects. That way, you always see what you're watching clearly and the paintings you display look real. You can find these paintings in the Art Store. If you get a subscription for this service, you can choose from thousands of artworks to display on the TV when you're not watching anything. With the included Slim Fit wall mount, you can hang your television tightly against the wall. You can connect all of your peripherals to the external One Connect Box, so there's only 1 cable going to your TV. The cable is 5m long. This way, your piece of art is complete and you have a neat TV setup against the wall. You can also request an interchangeable frame in a color that matches the style of your living room from Samsung. You can easily click it to the bezels of the TV. This way, your The Frame TV completely matches your home. Note: you need a Samsung account to use apps.
Thanks to the 10-bit QLED screen, everything you watch looks detailed and colorful. For example, you can see the color details in the shadows during a scary movie or on the soccer field during your favorite team's match. You can stream all of your favorite content from apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video via the Tizen smart platform. Note: you need a Samsung account to use apps.

Design
The Samsung The Frame (2023) looks just like a painting. As an art lover I am very happy with this, because via the Art Store I show hundreds of different works of art on the realistic QLED screen.
The screen looks like a work of art The TV has a 10-bit QLED screen. This allows you to view clear images with a lot of color tones on The Frame. This way, works of art on the screen are clearly visible and all the different colors come out clearly. Thanks to the matte screen, I am not bothered by reflections on the screen. The image remains clearly visible even in a lit room. The matte screen also makes works of art look realistic, because the QLED screen looks just like paper thanks to this anti-reflection layer. The contrast of The Frame is less strong than better QLED TVs. This is due to the edge lit local dimming, instead of the full array local dimming of other QLED TVs. Details in dark scenes of horror movies, for example, are less visible. There is also a slight haze around bright points in dark scenes.
Artistic design It's not just the image quality that makes The Frame look like a work of art. Thanks to the frame, your TV hangs on the wall like a painting. You choose the color of the frame yourself, so you can easily integrate the TV into your interior. Thanks to the included bracket, the TV hangs tightly against the wall, just like a real work of art. The One Connect Box allows you to connect all your peripherals with just one transparent cable. As a result, there is no tangle of cables in sight under the TV.
(Sm)art menu full of choices In the Art store I find hundreds of different works of art. I show all these works of art with a simple push of a button on the screen. The range is very large, so there is a work of art for every art lover. In the full-screen Tizen smart menu you will find all popular apps such as Netflix, YouTube and Disney +. This way I not only watch my favorite works of art, but also films and series,

Overall, I'm pleased with the TV and I would buy it again, however Coolblue service is really not what I expected. The TV does not come with the actual frame, you have to order this directly from Samsung. However, in order for Samsung to give the additional frame for free, they need an invoice with the TV serial number. Which you would expect to be Coolblue's invoice, but, this is not the case! I contacted their customer support and while they were kind and offered a solution, I found the solution to be quite disruptive. They want me to unmount my TV and exchange it for a brand new one, just so that I can receive a new invoice. This is not a complaint on the people behind support but on Coolblue as a company, since they could improve their processes towards their customers. This is not the first issue I have with them so it seems, and it's the reason I'm mentioning it, so other buyers can know what to expect.

Connecting everything in terms of cables and installation took very little effort, just watching live TV was not possible. (Have fiber optic and connect the antenna (to watch live TV) via HDMI cable). But no image whatsoever, but all apps etc. were immediately there. Contacted Support from both Coolblue and cable provider. Both very friendly and helpful. But after 6 hours of tinkering on my part I discovered that I had to activate the HDMI port by clicking on it via "connected devices". Saved me almost 6 hours of tinkering. So this is a tip for other buyers. (After this I can also watch live TV via my provider's remote control). Another tip: if you want to turn off art, press and hold the off button on the remote control for a few seconds. Picture and sound are fine (I don't have a soundbar). Ultimately, I am very satisfied with the result.
