I've been flying a Saitek Pro Flight yoke since 2010 and that's how flight simming has always been normal for me, but because all the movements of the yoke start bouncing so quickly, it's very strenuous flying, which is very tiring for the muscles in your shoulders and back. Now I had been looking at the Honeycomb for a while and wondering how much better the flying experience would be. It's much more yoke on all sides than Saitek's plastic toys, of course, but is that much more money worth the improvement in flying itself? I've been flying with the Honeycomb for a few hours now and I can say 'yes!' to cancel. I suddenly have a completely different sim! Even the small, light planes move so calmly and steadily, this is a completely different experience. I'm not constantly tensing muscles to be ready with every little movement to absorb the bouncing of the plane. I can sit comfortably now. Making small corrections is suddenly so easy and making turns while holding the altimeter in the right position is now possible without much effort. With this yoke I could fly without an autopilot for a whole evening without any problems and my back or shoulders don't bother me at all, it really makes a world of difference! Whether the price is worth it to you is of course very personal and depends on how serious you are about flight simming, but if you are an active flight simmer and spend a lot of time with a yoke in your hands, then the improvement over a yoke is of 150 euros, well worth it.
