Philips 2300 EP2336/40 LatteGo

The Philips 2300 Lattego is an excellent coffee machine that I have been using for several weeks. The device is very user-friendly and offers a wide range of options for coffee lovers. The design is modern and stylish, and fits well in any kitchen. The only disadvantage is that the device is quite large and takes up a lot of space. One of the biggest advantages of the Philips 2300 Lattego is its easy cleaning. The device is easy to clean and maintain, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a coffee machine that requires little maintenance. In addition, the coffee is of high quality and the device has an excellent taste. Another plus is the ease of use. The device is very intuitive and easy to operate, even for people who have no experience with coffee machines. The only disadvantage is that the device is quite noisy while grinding the beans. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Philips 2300 Lattego. It is an excellent coffee machine that meets all my expectations. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone looking for a high quality coffee machine.

The previous fully automatic espresso machine had broken down. As a family with 2 young children, coffee is a must, especially in the morning. Hence the search for a replacement, but more luxurious. We have found that in this machine. One of the advantages is that when your first cup in the morning is finished, a 2nd or 3rd is ready because of the long standby time. The softer sound of grinding the beans also ensures slightly less grumpy faces before you have finished your first cup. When I have those exceptional moments of peace at home, a (pampering) cappuccino is ready in no time. The milk reservoir is quick to fill and easy to clean. Adjusting the strength of the coffee is very easy to adjust per cup and you absolutely do not have to be a barista for this. Coolblue indicated before purchasing that it would take quite some work to clean the machine. But I think this isn't too bad. I think that if you have not had a fully automatic device before, the work can be seen as a lot.. For such an expensive device, it is a shame that there is some kind of sticker over the control panel. In our case, the sticker does not seem to be placed centrally, which means that the indicator lights are very close to the image. The name of this device is LatteGo, but unfortunately only frothed milk is not an option with this variant. Also not all product photos are correct, because an iced Coffee or a Latte Machiato is not possible with this model. The hot water option works fine, but as two coffee addicts we rarely use it. Another plus is that the water and bean reservoir are visible, so you can judge for yourself whether you need to refill before the device reminds you. The app they refer to in the photos is especially easy when setting up the machine. Simple with easy videos for dummies, ideal. Nice thing, especially for a quick cappuccino.

When unpacking, I can only advise... read the instructions for use. So for those who, like me, never do this… tip! The machine is larger than I expected, but that's why it's a coffee machine and not a coffee maker. I use coffee beans from Hema and we get many positive reactions to them. But of course it varies per person what you like. I read in another review that the machine would give watery coffee, but we have not had this problem yet. You can adjust the strength yourself. We have no experience with a fully automatic coffee machine yet, but it exceeds our expectations. Even my husband is enthusiastic. It is a real eye-catcher in our new house. The operation: It is very easy to make a cup of coffee. Press the button and you're done. Frothing the milk in a jug is very easy. It's nice that it doesn't go through a tube, which is not hygienic. The foam/steam wand is great. We haven't had tea from it yet because we have a Quooker. But you do have that option. Rinsing and cleaning: I find cleaning a hassle; I haven't had to do that extensively yet, but I know that I often wait too long. Fortunately, you can buy stuff to simplify it. Final verdict: A great device that is easy to operate, looks great in the kitchen and, not unimportantly, the coffee is delicious!
