With the Samsung WW80CGC04AAEEN I wash my laundry extra quickly, hygienically and in a stylish machine.
Appearance
I thought the machine had a luxurious look because of the black edge of the door and the black control panel. When I turned the black knob in the middle, a light lit up. This light turned with the button. This way I could clearly see which program I selected.
Speed
It sometimes happens to me that I forget to do laundry and I need a clean t-shirt quickly. The 'QuickWash' or 'short program' was a huge solution for me. This program was able to wash my clothes clean in 15 minutes, but the machine does this with cold water. After I easily selected the short program with the handy dial, which turns in 2 directions, I adjusted the details of the program. I did this on the right of the display. By pressing the thermometer icon a few times, I adjusted the temperature to 30 degrees. The time of the program did increase slightly, to 23 minutes. In my opinion this is still super fast.
Hygienic steaming
I am very sensitive to dust mites and animal hair. The steam program is very good for this. The hygienic steaming program lasted approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes. The machine added steam during washing, which killed all bacteria.
App use
I was able to operate the washing machine with the SmartThings app. I also tried this out. It worked quite easily, but it took some searching the first time. After I connected the washing machine to the app, I got all program options on my screen. I find this especially useful because you can operate the washing machine from wherever you want. I also received a notification on my phone when the program was ready again. This way I didn't walk to the machine too early to check whether my laundry was clean.
Detergent drawer
I easily pulled open the detergent drawer, but it was less sturdy than expected. The machine had a so-called StayClean Drawer. This meant that no soap residue was left behind in the drawer, but it was rinsed completely clean by powerful jets of water in the drawer. At the end of the program I opened the drawer and indeed there was no soap left in it. This ensured that all my laundry had absorbed the detergent and I had less cleaning to do on my machine.
