Very nice lens for travel/nature photography

I was able to test the lens for a few weeks and used it primarily for nature photography in the Amazon and for urban photography. The lens is very handy; for storage, you can slide it into a sort of storage position, making it fit perfectly in my camera bag. It feels solid, but obviously not weatherproof. On my R7 with an APS-C sensor, it takes beautiful, wide-angle images and the lens is sharp. Only in very close-up photos (portrait), there can sometimes be some subtle distortions when the subject is very close. I didn't find this particularly bothersome, as I don't use it for portraits.

The autofocus is fast and quiet, which makes it ideal for videography in my case.

All in all, very satisfied with a lens in this price range!
