The Kobo Clara Color is a light and compact e-reader on which I read books in color on the go. I didn't receive a charger, so I had to order one myself.
Colorful screen
Thanks to the color screen, I think the images in books or comic books come more to life. I also think the colorful book covers in the menu and in sleep mode are a nice addition. I highlight text with my fingers while reading. I do this, for example, when I want to read quotes again later. I highlight texts in yellow, pink, blue or green. I can easily find all marked texts in one overview.
Quiet before my eyes
I adjust the brightness and warmth of the screen myself thanks to ComfortLight PRO. For example, I read outside with lots of sunlight and in the evening. I like that, because I often read before I go to sleep. I then turn the brightness down and turn on the blue light filter. I also don't have to turn on a lamp, because the screen lighting of the e-reader is sufficient. I find this easier on my eyes and I fall asleep without any problems after reading. If I don't feel like reading, I listen to an audiobook.
Light and compact
I hold the light and small Kobo Clara in one hand. It also fits easily in my bag. This way I take it everywhere and read on the way to work. I did not receive a cover with the e-reader. If, like me, you take your e-reader with you a lot, I recommend a cover for protection. I personally read books in a smaller font, which is no problem on this small screen. Do you often read books in a larger font? Then I recommend a larger e-reader, such as the Kobo Libra or Kobo Sage. This way you don't have to browse as often.
Download books
I easily transfer books that I already have on my laptop to the e-reader with the supplied cable. I also easily download books via the Kobo library onto the e-reader itself. I find this useful, especially if I take out a Kobo Plus subscription. I then download unlimited books and audio books for a fixed monthly price.
