This reader has everything you need and more. You are not tied to the Kobo store if you want to play audio books. Synchronization is very simple (after logging in again in the cloud).

Bought this ereader last week. One of the reasons was because it includes the ability to play audiobooks. But also the text-to-speech, so that it can read out any text file. While I used to enjoy reading a lot, this became less so. Various causes such as deteriorated vision, too dark environment, but also 'nice with a book on your lap'. With an ereader you have the option to adjust the font size and type and use the backlight of the device itself. No hassle with holding the book open, so you can comfortably hold the ereader in one hand. (Luxury issues perhaps, but whatever). Since I haven't had the eReader for very long, I can't say much about the battery consumption, but it seems like it will last a very long time without having to charge. What I think is a shame is that pocketbook offers (almost) no Dutch books through the pocketshop. All recommended books are in another (mainly English) language. You can hide the pocket shop on the home screen of the eReader. I find the WiFi very useful. In combination with a pocketbook pbsync account, you can easily send an ebook by email. The Bluetooth on it is used for wireless headphones. So it is not possible to use a 3mm jack, which I personally don't like. All in all, a nice device that I don't know everything about yet. But still enjoying reading again.

Bought to replace previous model, the screen of which was broken after 3 years. Same effect, easy to use. However, the previous model had a handy non-slip exterior, while it has a smooth finish and therefore slips when you place it on your lap, for example. Solved by purchasing a matching protective cover.
