I don't spend much time on maintenance with the Liebherr FNd 4625-22. The freezer has No Frost, so I never have to defrost the appliance. The covered condenser ensures that the freezer can get rid of the heat well and thanks to energy class D, the freezer is energy efficient. However, it only has a capacity of 199 litres. As a result, I don't have an extreme amount of space.
First impression
The first thing I notice when I open the Liebherr FNd 4625-22 is how clearly I store all my frozen products. In the 5 drawers, I have enough space for 2 large shopping bags of stuff. However, it is only 145.5 centimetres high. That is big enough for me, but when I want to freeze large loads, it is a bit on the small side. The SpaceBox drawer is deeper than the rest. This also allows me to store a large cake or stack 5 pizza boxes on top of each other. I can easily set the temperature via the display. I also choose the super freeze option here. This temporarily lowers the temperature even more, so that my new groceries are frozen quickly.
Never defrost again with No Frost
I actually always have a full freezer. Defrosting is therefore never convenient for me, because then I always have to throw away bags of chips and containers of frozen soup. Fortunately, that is no longer necessary with this appliance. The freezer has No Frost, which means that no ice forms in the freezer compartment. Handy, because defrosting is a thing of the past. My products also remain ice-free, which makes it easy to read the packaging. This way I don't accidentally take mango cubes when I need blueberries. Thanks to No Frost, it continues to freeze energy-efficiently and I have less maintenance.
Store your food energy-efficiently
Because my freezer is always on, I think it is important that it is energy-efficient. After all, I don't want a high energy bill at the end of the year. With this freezer, that is no problem. Thanks to energy class D, I save on my monthly energy costs. The freezer also has a covered condenser. This prevents dust from accumulating on the grille and the freezer can continue to dissipate its heat properly. This means it does not consume more energy and I keep my energy costs low.
Suitable for the shed
I do not have room for an extra freezer in my kitchen. That is why I put it in my shed. This is a normal wooden shed that is not heated, so it gets quite cold in the winter. With this freezer that is not a problem, because it continues to work down to a temperature of -15 degrees Celsius. Great, because I can keep all my bags of chips even during a harsh winter.
