The HP OmniBook Ultra is a lightweight 14-inch laptop that's easy to carry. Its compact size makes it fit easily in my bag. This laptop has a convenient touchscreen, making it easy to take notes. The high-resolution display allows me to see everything clearly. However, the screen is glossy, which occasionally causes reflections.
First Impression
What immediately strikes me about the HP OmniBook Ultra are the rounded corners. Instead of square corners, this laptop has a slightly rounded design. This not only gives the laptop a sleek look, but it's also practical. On the right side of the rounded corner is a USB-C port. I plug my charging cable into that port, so I don't have to worry about cables on the side of the laptop. Furthermore, the laptop feels sturdy because it's partially made of metal.
Sharp Display and Compact Size
The display on this HP OmniBook Ultra is very sharp. I can see everything clearly, and I can even see the bird feathers in detail in photos. That's due to the 2.2K resolution. The laptop is 14 inches, which makes the screen a bit small. I don't mind that, because I don't need a large screen and find a small laptop comfortable to use.
Handy touchscreen and comfortable keyboard
This laptop has a touchscreen screen. This allows me to easily swipe away incoming notifications and take notes during a call. Unfortunately, the screen doesn't lie completely flat, so I have to be careful not to press too hard on the screen. If I do, I might tip the laptop over or force the hinge. The laptop also has a handy backlit keyboard, so I can see the keys clearly, even at night.
