Philips Ceramic Energy-Saver Heater 5000 Series

This heater quickly heated up my study! It is compact, lightweight and with a height of less than 60 cm it fits perfectly under my desk. It is also easy to move due to its light weight. I find it ideal that I can control the heater via the app, so I can turn it on from my bed! During testing I did find out that the temperature measurement is done close to the device, and therefore the temperature does not correspond to the real room temperature. Because of this I have to turn the heating up a notch. But otherwise it heats the room quickly, and it does its job well!

My advice is don't do it.

The device heats very poorly. I have an old De Longhi radiant heater that costs half as much and heats the room in no time (but it's very noisy, which is why I bought this Philips one). I can't get the Wi-Fi to work; according to the incomplete manual, only 2.4 GHz works. I have a Mesh Wi-Fi network, and everything I try to connect works, but the Philips (and its app) doesn't work. A waste of money.
