Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our desktop expert
For most apps: with the Apple Mac mini, you can use most apps without problems and do your daily work.
For everyday tasks: the Apple M4 chip lets you open your favorite apps without problems and connect 3 extra screens.
For your accessories: you can use the 2 USB-C ports and 3 Thunderbolt ports to connect all your favorite accessories.
Not for the most demanding apps: if you want to use the most demanding professional apps, you'll need the Apple Mac Studio.
Less suitable for lots of apps: your Mac slows down if you use many apps at the same time, and this runs more smoothly with 24GB of RAM.

This replaced my Mac mini M1 (base model), not because it had to, but it was still cheaper than my previous Mac mini, while this one is twice as powerful. The M1 went to my wife, and I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun with it for years to come. Tip: instead of spending extra on more storage, just attach an external SSD, much cheaper.

My previous iMac was already eleven years old and worked. LG always good although a bit slower. When I could buy the m4 Mac mini with a discount I changed my mind. It works well, it is fast and works seamlessly with all other Apple devices. Afterwards I did not need that much ssd storage and it is quite expensive. Then you can better buy the basic version and possibly buy external storage if necessary.
