This attachment reduces shocks and vibrations, so your recordings sound clear. This is useful when you walk around with the camera. You can connect the microphone to a camera, laptop, or smartphone with the 3.5mm connection. So it's versatile in use. Thanks to the supercardioid design, the microphone records focused sound at the front. As a result, it picks up little ambient noise. This is useful for a report on the street, for example.
