The Miele Guard S1 Nordic Blue is a compact vacuum cleaner with a light design. During testing, it was particularly noticeable how easy it is to use and how conveniently the accessories are stored. Read below what you can expect from this vacuum cleaner.

Light and manoeuvrable design The S1 Nordic Blue is light and compact. This is useful with multiple floors in the house. I can easily lift the vacuum cleaner up and down the stairs. Thanks to the VarioClip, I can hang the accessories on the vacuum cleaner tube, so that I always have them at hand. This means I don't have to look for the accessories if I want to vacuum a surface other than the floor. The vacuum cleaner is manoeuvrable and easy to control, especially in small spaces. It comes with a furniture nozzle, a soft brush and a crevice nozzle. With this, I can also vacuum dust from, for example, the kitchen table, the couch or between the cushions.

Convenient operation and good performance The included floor brush sucks up dirt from hard floors and low-pile carpet. During vacuuming, the floor remained undamaged and everything looked neat and clean. I adjust the floor brush with my foot. This way I can quickly switch between different floor types. The rotary knob for the suction power works smoothly, so you can quickly set the right position for each job.

Maintenance and points of attention You can easily remove the dust bag. It closes well, so that dust is not released when I empty the dust bag. This keeps my house nice and clean. The S1 Nordic blue is a basic model. I mainly see this in the design, which is a bit less luxurious. It cleans well otherwise, but I notice some difference with the top-class models from Miele. For normal daily use, this is a practical and reliable vacuum cleaner.
