According to our router expert
You can connect this router directly to most fiber optic networks, without an extra box.
Thanks to the WiFi 6, you can reach higher speeds and connect with multiple devices at the same time.
Thanks to the 4 network connectors, you can connect fixed devices like a computer or TV easily.
This router doesn't work directly on an XGS-PON fiber optic connection, you have to connect it to your modem or use an extra inverter.
Your devices have to support WiFi 6 to make use of the advantages.
FritzBoxes last a very long time: this replaces my FritzBox 7360 from 16 years ago (!) which is still not broken but does not fit in my new Mesh network. Unfortunately, there is no fiber optic cable to connect the modem and connection point. I could have read it myself, but Coolblue service would be proactive to point this out when purchasing. After all, everyone needs that. In fact: I can't even order such a piece of cable (< 10 euros) from Coolblue, I had to do it elsewhere.
