I bought 2 Denon 150NV's. I wanted to use these in the bedroom in stereo at first, but the sound was so filling that I now just chose to use the speakers in mono. One in the living room and one in the bedroom. In the bedroom I wanted to use these as a replacement for my old Sony Dreamstation. This was a kind of dock with speakers with nice sound in the time of the iPhone 4. But these Denon Speakers are much better in terms of sound. You can change that even further via the EQ (per speaker) via the HEOS app. Only bass and treble. I also have a regular wired stereo system in the living room that I am not getting rid of. This is a nice addition. Especially for a Quick listen. The sound is more than ok, especially if you turn it up a bit and it can really go quite loud. So I didn't dare to turn it up loud, but for my space the volume is more than enough. I read a lot of negative reviews about the HEOS app. This one actually seems okay to me (after the update). Only setting up one of the speakers did not work. It did not find it in the network. I had to turn off the other speaker that had already been found and I also moved closer to the router during the installation and then it worked. But now that all speakers have been found and the HEOS app has been updated and the speakers have had a firmware update, everything worked. Now I think the HEOS app is a pretty good app after all this. But you do not need it in principle because you can also control everything wirelessly via Airplay 2 or via Spotify connect or via Bluetooth and then you also have a USB port and an Aux input on the speakers themselves (both of which I have not tried because they are not necessary). All in all I am satisfied with my purchase.
