Philips Series 7000 BT7665/15

The trimmer works less well on 'longer beards' where the longest setting is 10.5 millimeters. He also pulls the beard hairs and skips hairs. He doesn't grab shorter hairs as much, but the trimmer misses hairs there too. Very nice is the water resistance, can be rinsed completely, and the head is easy to open for cleaning/maintenance. The trimmer fits comfortably in the hand. Very strange that the supplied travel case offers no (barely) space for the supplied comb (let alone charger)

It is still unclear whether this is an individual manufacturing defect or a problem with this product line, but the device has virtually no shave in the 10 mm position. Had my beard for several months and wanted to reduce it to 10 mm and therefore bought the Philips BT9810/15 Prestige. The device shaved very badly. Can't shave 5% of my beard in 10 minutes. At that time I was about to return but thought I would try a slightly shorter position. Position 8.5 mm made a world of difference. In 1 minute almost all beard hairs are shaved short.

So I am positive and negative about this product at the same time. Now wait and see if this trimmer shaves well after exchange and will adjust my review based on that.

Other: A clear addition for this product would be if more variants of attachment combs were available, for example an increaser to 10 to 15 mm. Considering the design and the included 5 to 10mm riser, this seems like something that should be very easy to add and could broaden the target audience.
